Point Dume Beach is an ideal venue for a summer barbecue, company picnic, or any other outdoor event. Point Dume State Beach features headlands, cliffs, rocky coves, and vast beach access, creating a gorgeous atmosphere for any occasion. The beach is presently operated by Los Angeles County and is known for swimming, surfing, scuba diving, and fishing. Point Dume is a perfect place to watch for California gray whales during the December to mid-April migration period. The sand area at Point Dume State Beach can be rented for a special event for the person looking to create an entire party right on the sand. This beach is the perfect company picnic location in Malibu for a beach-side staff outing.
